I am not trying to fuel the fire.
There are many things that I don't need to tell.
There are many things that I don't need to repeat.
1 Peter 3:10
I need to let the things that I hear die within me.
I am not saying a word about the things that I hear that I do not need to repeat.
Love covers a fault.
Love does not expose.
Not fueling the fire really means maintaining the confidentiality.
I need to use the discipline You have given me to let what I hear die within me.
I need to protect reputations.
It's not absolutely necessary for me to tell everything I hear.
I really don't want to tell it.
I need to take what I hear from third and fourth sources with a grain of salt.
I should not believe everything that I hear.
I really don't want to hear the negative things about those You have placed in our paths.
You hate it when I sow discord.
I need to be careful who I associate with and the time You have given me is too valuable.
It is just as wrong to listen to gossip as it is to tell it.
Proverbs 11:13
I need to defend whenever I hear negative about others.
I need to stick up for family, friends, Coworkers, students, supervisors, District, and others.
These are Your friends, family members, and they are Your Church.
I need to stick up for Your family, friends, and Church.
I need to be loyal and stick up for them.
I need to put a stop to the negativity.
I need to help lift up Your family.
Family needs us more than ever in the tough times.
I need to cover their faults.
The book of Genesis
I need to be disciplined and protect the reputations.
Just because it's true does not mean that I should repeat it.
Galatians 6:1
I need to cover people.
I need to protect reputations.
I need to store up mercy.
You will show mercy to the offspring.
Family and friends need us more in the tough times than the good times.
I need to put an end to gossip.
Ears are not garbage cans.
I need to cover the people who You have placed in our paths.
I need to cover and I need to show mercy.
Mercy sets the tone for blessings.
I should not let people gossip around me.
