Let me never be put to shame,
In righteousness deliver me;
I put my trust as I proclaim,
Asking for a protection plea.

Incline Your ear and rescue me,
Rock of refuge and strong fortress;
As You should be able to see,
That I am now in such distress.

Lead and guide me for Your name’s sake,
Please remove me out from this net;
I ask that these bonds for You to break,
It’s my enemies that I fret.

You are my strength and salvation,
You have redeemed me for my hope;
The cornerstone and foundation,
My spirit committed to cope.

I hate those who worship idols,
But in the Lord, I will believe;
I know others You condemn souls,
No salvation will they receive.

For I will rejoice and be glad,
Of Your mercy and steadfast love;
No more shall I ever be sad,
From torment and distress thereof.

To You I commit my spirit,
You set my feet in a broad place;
Because of knowing my merit,
You have shined Your mercy and grace.
