I still want you badly

Imagining tasting your lips

Many pretty faces seen

The libido reinvigorated

After a long time dormant

But they pale in comparison

To my elusive enigma who

Led me subconsciously

To your door

Enrapturing my being

Tearing me to pieces

Capturing my soul.



Am I to be diagnosed

As unhinged?

Deranged?

You're my first prayer

Upon awakening

And my last benediction

Before the dawn.



Even though it's unlikely

You'll care as fervidly

Focus so attentively

Or submerge intuitively

Within my obsession

Even a late hour confession

From you

Won't derail

My forgone legacy

Of being enslaved to you.
