I marvel that you are removed,
So quickly in deserting Christ
Called into His grace and behooved,
To another gospel enticed.

Not that there is another one,
But something that does trouble you;
Distorts the Gospel of God’s Son,
In having a perverted view.

Even if a saint from Heaven,
Should preach an opposing gospel;
Let them be showing proof given,
That have witnessed by some people.

If someone preaches a gospel,
Contrary to the one received;
Let them be accursed by people,
Who have the faith and has believed.

For do I seek the approval,
For pleasing man or please God;
I’m not apt to the removal,
From the one I honor and laud.
