Much to be desired

As I'm swept up

In your lies

With a smile hiding deceit.



Time losing ground

And I still haven't found

My heart

Which others

Take for granted

I'm a nomad

Yearning to plant roots

But I haven't felt at home

So damn worried someone

Will take it away

Just because they can.



It isn't a sin for choosing solitude

But whether it's a clever way

Of displaying strength

Or just manipulating humanity

Isn't gonna reverse the equation

That we eventually need someone

While trying to decipher

The mystery of love.
