What advantage has the Jew,
Much in every way to start;
Circumcision of value,
As entrusted in the heart.

What if some did not believe,
Their faithlessness nullify;
Salvation shall not receive,
Because their heart would deny.

By no means let God be true,
Though everyone a liar;
Be justified to construe,
Or judged thrown in the fire.

Unrighteousness serves to show,
The righteousness of the Lord;
Inflicting His wrath to go,
Since the heathen have ignored.

How could the Lord judge the earth,
If my lie about God’s truth;
The unrighteous show no worth,
Showing behavior as uncouth.

Why not do evil for good,
Their condemnation is just;
Slanderously charged they could,
Being condemned for their lust.
