Our Future after Death

We are always of good courage,
We know that when we are home;
With the Lord feel not discourage,
No matter where we maybe roam.

For we walk by faith, not by sight,
We are confident what we say;
At home with the Lord in delight,
Out of the body be away.

Whether we are home or away,
We make our aim to please God;
Cautioning not to go astray,
Rather showing honor and laud.

We all must appear before Christ,
As He sits on the judgment seat;
Receiving what we sacrificed,
Whether good or bad we complete.
