The Lord has searched and have known me,
He knows when I sit and rise up;
He understands my thoughts I see,
And the coffee within my cup.

He encompasses of my path,
And acquainted with all my ways;
While sparing me from His wrath,
For guiding me from where it strays.

Even before a word on my tongue,
The Lord knows the thoughts I gather;
Allows the words that will be flung,
A right linguistics together.

He sets me behind and before,
As He lays His hand upon me;
And He guides me across the floor,
Opening my eyes as to see.

Such knowledge is too wonderful,
So high I cannot attain it;
It pleases Him and pleasureful,
When He sees me and my merit.
