As defiance has made sinners,
Obedience makes one righteous;
The free gift will make you winners,
Justified under God’s justice.

Trespass leads to condemnation,
While an act of righteousness;
Leads you to justification,
And humbled under graciousness.

The Law came in as to increase,
That the offence just might abound;
But where trespasses would not cease,
Grace is fit to turn it around.

Unto death that sinning has reigned,
Righteousness is life eternal;
Salvation is being attained
That saves you from the infernal.
