Which way to the dwelling of light,
And where is the place of darkness;
The place that would give me insight,
The territory of starkness.

That You take to the bound thereof,
You may discern knowing the path;
Where I can see light from above,
And be exempt from any wrath.

Knowing that because I was born,
The number of Your days are great;
And You left me here to sojourn,
Already knowing of my fate.

You’ve entered the storehouse of snow,
And have seen the storehouse of hail;
The treasures of winter will show,
The forthcoming what will entail.

You reserved the times of trouble,
For the day of battle and war;
Please rescue me from the rubble,
Comforting me to feel secure.

By which way the light departed,
Where the wind scattered on the earth;
The place where the tenderhearted,
Have been merciful since their birth.
