Since we have such of a hope,
Confidence is very bold;
For it allows us to cope,
When situations unfold.

Not like Moses had a veil,
Over His face not to gaze;
Others seeing of how pail,
Outcome with God he conveys.

But their minds had been hardened,
Reading the old covenant;
Causing life to be darkened,
Words from the ole testament.

Just through Christ it’s taken away,
A veil lies over their hearts;
Not removed if gone astray,
To this day never departs.

When one turns unto the Lord,
The veil shall then be removed;
For being in one accord,
Unto God you are approved.

Now the Lord is the Spirit,
Where the Spirit of the Lord;
There is freedom in merit,
And the darkness is ignored.

Your face has been now unveiled,
Beholden to His glory;
Transformed in the Lord detailed,
To be part of His story.

From the Lord who’s the Spirit,
Comes with the New Covenant;
In which we will inherit,
Read in the New Testament.
