These pent up emotions

Inhibitions tossed away

Like the clothes

On the floor

Skin into sin

So beautiful

Tragically pure

Hypnotically alluring

Your dutiful servant

Summoned to beckon call

To feel desired once more.



There are no limits

Except what the past

Can lay vindictively upon us

If we're tasting heaven

Why would we even consider

By returning to that awful place?

Where loneliness just a poet's ode

And a broken heart the norm?



My mouth full of ashes

Instead of your eyelashes

I wish you could see

Through my eyes

Instead of listening

To the dissenting voices

Whether in the air

Or in the head that

I'm a bastard's son

Only here to trap you

Forsaking your independence

On a one in a million chance

To reach paradise

With a mentally unequipped captain.



But while logic failing us

Our hearts haven't felt

This ecstatic in so long
