From the spirits before His throne,
Who is and who was and will be;
Foundation as the cornerstone,
He comes on His Father’s decree.

From Christ Jesus’ faithful witness,
The ruler of kings on the earth;
The firstborn returns as to bless,
The dead in giving a new birth.

To Him who loves freed us from sin,
By His blood and made you, His priest;
In His kingdom where we should begin,
For enjoying His prepared feast.

Be the glory and dominion,
To Him forever and ever;
No longer captive in prison,
Rather decreed that won’t sever.

He is coming down in the clouds,
All the tribes of the earth will wail;
As every eye sees in the crowds,
Knowing what the Scriptures entail.
