My heart is steadfast, O God,
I am making melody;
As I sing to give laud,
Giving praise with my glory.

Awake psaltery and harp,
As I awake at the dawn;
Songs are coming from the heart,
Letting the darkness be gone.

I will give thanks to You Lord,
Praise You amongst the people;
Praising You in one accord,
Hymns and songs in the temple.

For Your steadfast love is great,
Faithfulness above the clouds;
Your mercy holding its weight,
As the truth reaches the crowds.

Be exalted in Heaven,
Your glory over the earth;
From Your blessings have given,
Are filled with a priceless worth.

Your beloved be delivered,
Giving of Your salvation;
The cold that we have shivered,
Make warm as a new nation.
