Lawlessness is a mystery,
That temptation does not restrain;
That is causing iniquity,
The corrupted heart will retain.

It does until out of the way,
When wicked conduct is revealed;
Indicating why did you stray,
Confess to the Lord to be healed.

The Lord with His mouth shall consume,
And will be killing with His breath;
Sinful appearance sees its doom,
The Lord’s Spirit causes its death.

Satan causes iniquity,
Power from false signs and wonders;
Deception with audacity,
That eventually brings blunders.

For those who would be perishing,
They have refused to love the truth;
The pleasures they are cherishing,
Makes them arrogant and uncouth.

God sends them a strong delusion,
That is false on what they believe;
Evidence of disillusion,
Of eternity they receive.

For God promises to condemn,
If they continue to go stray;
For their unrighteousness in them,
Eternally they will decay.
