The virgin has fallen, forsaken,
No longer to rise on her land;
Because she has not awaken,
Enabled to righteously stand.

For the city that had gone out,
A thousand has a hundred left;
Because they had shed so much doubt,
Suffering hardship to bereft.

Seek the Lord so that you may live,
You have gone into exile;
If you confess, He will forgive,
After you have changed your lifestyle.

Seek the Lord so that you may live,
Lest God will break out like a fire;
For no salvation will He give,
Because you are a known liar.

None to quench and will devour,
You turn justice into wormwood;
As righteousness has turned sour,
Casting down to what was good.
