Steadfast love and faithfulness perch;
Mercy and truth are met together;
Righteousness and peace meet at church,
Kissed each other as they gather.

Faithfulness springs up from the ground,
Righteousness looks down from Heaven;
Listening to the saintly sound,
The flowing blessings are given.

For the Lord will give what is good,
As the land will yield its increase;
Pleasing Him the way that we should,
Knowing that the blessings won’t cease.

Righteousness shall go before Him,
And making His footsteps a way;
Knowing that we will not be grim,
Following Him never to stray.
