Give an ear unto my word,
Consider of my groaning;
Of everything you have heard,
Suffering and the moaning.

Give attention to my cry,
My King and God who I pray;
I know You can hear me sigh,
As I keep trust to obey.

In the morning hear my voice,
I prepare to sacrifice;
I aim myself to rejoice,
That Satan will not entice.

You’re not a God who delights,
Of the evil that would dwell;
Darkness is not in Your sights,
You send wickedness to hell.

The fools stand not in Your sight,
As You hate evildoers;
The boastful men that delight,
That are sinful pursuers.

You destroy those who speak lies,
And abhor deceitful man;
Those with the bloodthirsty eyes,
That makes an evil plan.
