Flee these things, pursue righteousness,
By fighting the good fight of faith;
Being steadfast in godliness,
Avoiding any earthly wraith.

Take hold of the eternal life,
Which you made the good confession;
No longer shall be bogged with strife,
As witnessed to your profession.

I charge you in the Lord’s presence,
Who gives life unto everything;
Witnessed testimony in essence,
Of what your confession will bring.

Keep the commandments without spot,
Free from reproach till appearing;
In front of the Lord homage sought,
In rendering your revering.

Christ will show at the proper time,
Who confess that He’s King of kings;
Lord of lords and Holy Divine,
Only Sovereign that Heaven brings.

Just Christ has immortality,
Dwells in unapproachable light;
The unseen Lord Divinity,
Whom we honor for His insight.
