How can a man keep his way pure?
Guarding by following Your Word;
Turn a blind eye to tempter’s lure,
A deaf ear to what might be heard.

With my whole heart I will seek You,
Not to wander from what You say;
Because I know it is all true,
So, I want to trust and obey.

Your Word is hiding in my heart,
That I might not sin against You;
When I’m in need I can impart,
For the righteous way I pursue.

Bless You for teaching Your statutes,
With my lips for I have declared;
Your delight in righteous pursuits,
For our lives You have prepared.

The way of Your testimonies,
I delight as much in Your wealth;
Segregating from the phonies,
Who promises you moral health.

I meditate on Your precepts,
And fixing my eyes on Your ways;
As Your mightiness intercepts,
On the pathway that someone strays.

I will delight in Your statutes,
And won’t be forgetting Your Word;
Remembering Your attributes,
From the Scriptures that have powered.
