The Lord is my portion,
I am to keep His Word;
And filled with emotion,
Every time they are heard.

His grace has filled my heart,
According to His Word;
As my lips does impart,
My mind starts to be stirred.

When I think on my ways,
My feet turn to attest;
Raising my hands to praise,
Fills me spiritual zest.

I make haste, delay not,
To keep His commandments;
For His truth that I sought,
Reading His testaments.

Though evil ensnares me,
I don’t forget His Law;
For they help me to see,
Avoiding any flaw.

I rise in giving praise,
Because of righteous rules;
Through His judgments always,
Heard in the vestibules.

A companion I fear,
To keep His precepts;
And so, I will revere,
Such beautiful concepts.

He teaches His statutes,
Full of His steadfast love;
As His grace contributes,
To blessings from above.
