Have this in mind as yours in Christ,
Though He was in the form of God;
Counts not equal as sacrificed,
A thing to be grasped when flawed.

He made Himself as a servant,
Was born in the likeness of man;
He had been very observant,
In following the Father’s plan.

For He became obedient,
Humbled unto the point of death;
As He was remaining prudent,
On a cross until His last breath.

God bestowed upon Him the name,
Which has been above all others;
Exalting Him that we proclaim,
Honored by all of your brothers.

So that at the name of Jesus,
Every knee should and confess;
In Heaven and on earth as thus,
In proclamation to profess.

And that every tongue should confess,
And proclaim Jesus Christ is Lord;
The Father’s glory to express,
Each of us be in one accord.
