In that day this song will be sung,
For Zion is a strong city;
Salvation as bulwarks are strung,
With lanterns looking so pretty.

Gates open for the just nation,
That the righteous may enter in;
For they are the new creation,
Their faith has kept them free from sin.

God has kept them in perfect peace,
Since their mind has stayed on the Lord;
Because of trust, struggles have cease,
By remaining in one accord.

So, trust in the Lord forever,
For He is an eternal rock;
Faithful trust that will not sever,
In prayer you are able to talk.

He has humbled the habitants,
The lofty city of its height;
Those who has offered penitence,
Laying it low to be His delight.

Low to the ground, casts into dust,
The feet of the poor and needy;
They trample temptation and lust,
Along with those that are greedy.
