You should know of the grace of God,
That has been bestowed on the church;
Benefit through honor and laud,
While you have righteously search.

How that great test of affliction,
Through the abundance of your joy;
Deep poverty of addiction,
Overflowed wealth you now employ.

A wealth of generosity,
Given according to your means;
Your willingness to charity.
The glory that shines in your genes.

For I can truly testify,
Your heart and mind in one accord;
Never could I ever deny.
Of your devotion to the Lord.

We pray with so much earnestly,
For the favor of taking part;
Receiving a gift modestly,
Relieving the saints from the heart.

It is not as we expected,
In giving yourself to the Lord;
For the will of God selected,
For giving what you could afford.

We urge you as I had started,
You should complete the act of grace;
Soon I feel to be departed,
In Jesus’ presence will embrace.

Excel in your faith and wisdom,
For the utterance of your love;
Patience to enter His Kingdom,
Abound in His grace from above.
