The Lord makes a way in the sea,
A path in the mighty waters;
Thus, saying God in His decree,
A path for sons and daughters.

It brings forth chariot and horse,
For they will lie down together;
As the waters changes their course,
They cannot rise whence they gather.

Extinguished and quench like a wick,
Remember not the former things;
Nor consider old things to pick,
As the dawn of the new day springs.

I do new things that springs forward,
You should be able to believe;
That my goal will be reaching toward,
The future that one must perceive.

I make way in the wilderness,
And the rivers in the desert;
The chosen having togetherness,
While knowing God will comfort.

The wild beast giving honors,
And God gave us water to drink;
To the chosen who are fawners,
Being humbled proceed to think.

For Himself the people He made,
That they might declare in His praise;
His children He has given aid,
Only Savior guiding their ways.
