Bless be the God of our Lord,
Father of the Lord Jesus Christ;
To whom we have loved and adored,
Mercies let Him be sacrificed.

The Father of all the mercies,
And as the God of all comfort;
He is the God that oversees,
Endeavors of our effort.

He comforts from the affliction,
In which comes from our trouble;
Comforts our tribulation,
Pulling us out of the rubble.

As we share in Christ’s suffering,
We share in comfort abundantly;
Because His comfort is buffering,
For calming our anxiety.

Whether we have been afflicted,
It is for your consolation;
Cure what you have been addicted,
In giving of your salvation.

Experience patiently endures,
As your hope in you is steadfast;
When sharing with others assures,
That the suffering will not last.
