Now who is there to harm you,
As zealous for what is good;
If doing to what is true,
As the Word says that you should.

Even if you should suffer,
Blessings for righteousness sake;
Jesus Christ is your buffer,
And He will never forsake.

Be not afraid without fear,
Neither troubled with terror;
Christ the Lord is always near,
For burdens He’s the bearer.

Honor Jesus in your heart,
For Christ the Lord as holy;
Make a defense to impart,
A reason for hope solely.

Do with meekness and respect,
And having a good conscience;
Spoken evil do reject,
Remember to keep patience.

They may be shamed for slander,
Jealous of good behavior;
Your thoughts as more grander,
Having Christ as your Savior.

Better to do the Lord’s will,
Rather than doing evil;
To reflect and to instill,
Ready for Christ’s arrival.
