Join in imitating me,
Walk in example in us;
Open your eyes as to see,
Longing for Jesus as thus.

For many I have been told,
Now tell you even with tears;
Walk as foes of Christ so bold,
Christians being struck with fears.

Their end will be destruction,
And their god is their stomach;
Earthly things their seduction,
As their shame goes run amuck.

We’re citizens of Heaven,
Waiting for our Savior;
Salvation we are given,
Christ looks on us with favor.

He will change our body,
By His power enabled;
Fashioned for us as holy,
Subdued all things sanctified.
