As I looked into an angels eyes of rare surprise
I saw a sight that I'd not for the longest time seen
One that gave to me the most sincere reason to
Smile as I'd not smiled in the longest time been

With an ever caringly sincere heart true and dear
She blessed me as I'n not been blessed for ages
I doubt if she knew how grand she is ever true
As if in a book of life's stress she as if added pages

So giving in her way being as she is come what may
She gave to myself a reason so endlessly worthwhile
Even within my life with it's as has been daily strife
A precious gift so very missed a reason thus to smile

With eyes so caring within my life as if unbarring
As it's been often over the longest ever known time
I wondered if she herself had any real sincere idea
The value of such a gift worthwhile in this life of mine
