Family Traits
What is family? It's a fundamental social group, characterized by kinship, emotional, or legal ties, that share a space and maintain relationships of mutual support.
Today, families have changed; some, with more special bonds, don't even speak to each other. They hide mysteries of the past, haunted, some say to each other, that we live outside the box, but where do we leave the lies of everyday life?
The irony, and the untruths of time, a compound thought, exposed in its attempt to achieve a better version.
The lack of unity.
Inheritance and the lack of love, today, a lack of love reigns in families, parents kill children, children kill parents, and life goes on, the State sickens the very institution of the family.
Perhaps, because I love everyone, I don't even know how to speak, I don't even express myself correctly.
Time, which atrophies my mind.
Maybe I'm sick because I love everyone, and I know deep down that life will set me free....
There are times when I want to throw myself out of a fifth-story window, as the song "Pais e Filhos" (Parents and Children) by Legião Urbana says... Not easy to understand.
Perhaps I have a dark mind, wanting only to love and not suffer anymore.
I wish I could change, perhaps find Einstein's relativity, and go back in time...
Today, society has greatly changed the concept of family, which begins when a man leaves his home and unites with a woman, respecting each other, helping each other, growing together, and in the certainty of the presence of children.
Today, none of that exists. My utopia is merely recorded in a poem, to be read by someone, and I, with the desire for my childhood memories, remain dormant and life passes by. At 58, the disappointments I experienced transform into bitter words, in a person who has nothing to offer but self-forgiveness! Teka Mendes Castro
